Olivia De Camps is a Dominican-American writer-director based in NY. Merging fiction and documentary, her work often explores the beauty and complexities of women in Latin America and the Caribbean. Olivia’s debut short film, CHICO VIRTUAL, starring Jaden Michael, has been screened at numerous festivals and was acquired by HBO/Max. Her latest film, SIRENA, screened at festivals including Locarno, HollyShorts, Aspen Shortfest, and Palm Springs, winning “Best Narrative” at NFFTY. She was also part of Locarno’s Open Doors Residency.
Her debut feature film, set to be shot in the Dominican Republic, is currently in development.
