On an atmospheric trip around the Scottish coast in the new Peugeot 408, Amelia Le Brun shares her tips on getting the best shots of these incredible landscapes.
Scotland is a place that is very close to my heart, having spent 4 years growing up in the Highlands heading north of the border feels like heading home.
When the team at Condé Nast reached out to discuss my idea of the ultimate road trip to put the new Peugeot 408 through its paces, my mind immediately jumped to Scotland. Choosing to shoot in Scotland is always a gamble, from weather fronts, to clouds of midges Scotland can fight back!
Over the few days shooting we were incredibly lucky with the weather - only a few showers and one brief meeting with those dreaded midges! Over the 3 day shoot we travelled along Scotlands North Coast, scrambling up fell sides in search of the ultimate view points, crossing rivers and burning through rolls of film. I was lucky to work be accompanied by a brilliant team from Condé Nast and my brother as my shoot assistant. It felt amazing to be working in such an incredible place and telling stories of the landscapes I grew up in.
